Stela was reading that hidden value as a real number, which produced negative engagement rates on those creators — and quietly filtered them out of your results even when they were a good match. What changed: Hidden likes are treated as unknown, not as zero or negative — When a creator hides their like count, Stela now records that the number isn't available instead of scoring it as if engagement were negative. Good creators stop being filtered out by accident — Because those creators no longer carry an impossible engagement rate, they're no longer dropped by your minimum-engagement setting when they should have passed. Existing creators were corrected too — Affected creator profiles already in your workspace have been repaired, so you don't have to re-run discovery to benefit. Where engagement genuinely can't be known, it says so — For Instagram creators whose only signal was a hidden like count, the engagement rate now shows as unavailable rather than showing you a made-up figure.
