Use the Grok Bot desktop app or mobile app. A Cursor support engineer also refers to bots in the Grok app and on grok.com.

The xAI docs say Grok Bot runs on macOS, Windows, Linux, iOS, and Android, through the Grok Bot desktop app and the Grok Bot mobile app. Your Bots work on a cloud computer, so the same Bots are there on every device you sign in to.
xAI's Grok FAQ says Grok Bot "is not the same as Grok on grok.com or the Grok mobile apps." The Grok Bot docs don't say whether your Bots appear in the Grok app. A Cursor support engineer wrote on October 15, 2026, that "your bots will show up in the Grok app once it’s connected to the right account."
On October 17, 2026, our founder, Eric Starr, reported that our Bots show up in the Grok app. That result is our own experience, not something the docs say.
User report, not official: on October 16, 2026, @testingcatalog posted, "I just realized that Grok Bots have been rolled out on Grok web and mobile!"
Step 1: On a computer, install the Grok Bot desktop app for macOS, Windows, or Linux and sign in.
Step 2: On your phone, install the Grok Bot app for iPhone, iPad, or Android. Your Bots and conversations sync with the desktop app.
Step 3: To try Bots on grok.com or in the Grok app, sign in with the same account you use for Grok Bot and look for Bots there. In our own setup, our Bots show up in the Grok app.
If the Bots page on grok.com or in the Grok app says it cannot load your bots, Cursor staff say this is a known issue where the Grok login is linked to an older account. Your bots are not lost. Keep using the Grok Bot desktop app while Cursor fixes the account link, and contact xAI support at support@x.ai.

Grok Bot runs on macOS, Windows, Linux, iOS, and Android
The desktop app runs on macOS (Apple silicon and Intel), Windows (x64 and Arm64), and Linux (x64 and Arm64), and the mobile app runs on iPhone, iPad, and Android. The computers Bots work on run in Cursor's cloud.

The issue is that the Grok app and grok.com are still connected to an older Cursor account that was linked to your Grok login before you switched to the X Subscription.
In the meantime, the Grok Bot desktop app is connected to the right account, so you can create and use your bots there. Nothing has been lost, and your bots will show up in the Grok app once it’s connected to the right account.

Use the Grok Bot desktop app on macOS, Windows, or Linux, or the companion app on iOS or Android. The same Bots and conversations sync across your signed-in devices.
