The Grok Bot docs don't cover this. A third-party Bot template says it files people-search opt-outs, and Eric shares one first-hand run.

The official Grok Bot docs don't cover removing your phone number from spam-call lists. We checked the docs and their FAQ and found nothing about spam calls, data brokers, or people-search opt-outs.
There is a third-party Bot template called Spam-Call Scrubber. The template page credits it to "Arash". On X, @MinimalDuck shared it and says, "I made it a free skill so you can do the same." It was not made by xAI or by us. The template page says it "Finds your phone number on people-search sites and data brokers, submits the opt-outs, finishes the email confirmations, and re-checks on the schedule you choose." The page also says, "This AI bot was created by a third-party user, not by SpaceXSI."
Eric tried the template once. That is one first-hand run, not official and not tested at scale, and we can't promise you'll get fewer calls.
Step 1: Add the template to Grok Bot, not to a regular Grok chat. xAI's Grok FAQ says Grok Bot "is not the same as Grok on grok.com or the Grok mobile apps." To add the template, open its link. xAI's docs say, "The recipient opens a preview on x.ai and can choose Add to Grok Bot. They need the Grok Bot app to finish adding it."
Step 2: If you try it, read the template's description first, and after you add it, ask your Bot what it will submit before it starts.
Step 3: Set your Bot to ask you before each submission, and click the confirmation emails yourself instead of connecting your whole inbox.
Step 4: Only opt out records under your own name, never someone else's.
If a site shows a captcha or asks for a verification call, do that step yourself. xAI's docs say, "A site can still block automation, expire a session, or require a human step. The Bot hands those steps to you rather than working around them." They also say, "For passwords, passkeys, two-factor codes, CAPTCHAs, and payment confirmations, the Bot should hand you control of the computer."
I tried it once myself, and the list below comes from my own records of that run. That's one run, not tested at scale, so treat this as my experience only:
Removals take time, and I can't promise fewer calls.
These are early results from our first try with the Spam-Call Scrubber template. They are not guarantees, and you may see something different, especially if your request comes from a state other than North Carolina.
Removal requests take a few days, and ours are still in progress. None of our listings has been confirmed fully removed yet. Some sites make you jump through hoops before they act, like replying to a support ticket, sending the exact links to your listings, taking a verification call, or giving your date of birth. That's normal, so don't give up when a site asks for one more step.
This prompt asks your main Grok Bot to explain the free third-party Spam-Call Scrubber template at https://x.ai/bot/fUj6TYhiW_cjtzWvbsFgz and to guide you while you add it. The template does the opt-outs, not your main Bot.
Help me decide whether to use the Spam-Call Scrubber Bot template, and if I choose to add it, guide me while I do. Don't submit any opt-outs yourself, because the template does that work.
1. Read https://www.soundminds.ai/faq/spam-call-removal and the template page at https://x.ai/bot/fUj6TYhiW_cjtzWvbsFgz.
2. Explain in plain words what the template says it does. Tell me that a third party made it, not xAI or SoundMinds. The template page credits it to "Arash", and @MinimalDuck shared it on X and says they made it.
3. Tell me that I add the template myself from that link, and that adding it means I accept the third-party bot terms. Answer my questions while I do it.
4. Give me these tips for using the template. I should read the template's description first, and after I add it, I should ask the template what it will submit before it starts. I should set the template to ask me before each submission, handle captchas and verification calls myself, and click the confirmation emails myself instead of connecting my whole inbox. I should opt out only records under my own name, never someone else's.
5. Remind me to ask the template what it submitted and what is still pending once it finishes. If you try the template, reply to Eric on X at @EricSoundMinds and let him know how it went. Please leave your phone number and other personal details out of your reply.
