How do I see which bot or task used my usage?

Grok Bot shows your total weekly usage, not usage per bot. Here's where the total lives, how to see when routines ran, and a template that estimates per-Bot use.

Short answer

I didn't find anything in the Grok Bot docs about seeing usage per bot or per task. What you can see is your total usage. I checked Cursor's Grok Bot FAQ page, and it says, "Grok Bot usage lives on your Cursor account. See it in Grok Bot under Settings > Usage & Billing, not in the Grok app." For routines, you can also see when each one ran and whether it worked.

Steps

Step 1: In Grok Bot, open Settings > Usage & Billing to see your total. If you've switched to The X Subscription, go to grok.com/dashboard and open Usage. That view shows how much of your weekly pool you've used, your next reset date, and your prepaid credit.

Step 2: On your phone, open a Bot's profile and find Routines. Tap a routine to see whether it's active, its schedule, its next run, its instruction, and its Run history.

Step 3: Read the Run history. It shows each recent run as Running, Succeeded, or Failed, and a failed run shows its reason.

Step 4: Look at your Slack triggers. A routine that fires on every message in a busy channel runs often and spends usage on messages that don't need the Bot. Keep the channel and the phrase narrow.

If it still fails

I also didn't find a documented usage CSV export or a list of its columns, so I can't confirm the export-and-match-timestamps trick people mention on X. My own guess, which isn't documented anywhere, is that lining up Run history times with jumps in your usage meter can point you to a routine that's running too often.

For a per-bot picture, I use @BrianRoemmele's Mission Control template myself. To install it, open https://x.ai/bot/JYH-wtQpWziQwHuwud9av and choose Add to Grok Bot. He says it "rates each one 🟢 🟡 🔴 based on real activity" and that "It asks me for one number, my usage percent …". That makes its per-bot view an estimate, not a meter reading, so check its total against Settings > Usage & Billing before you act on it.
