I had Premium+ or SuperGrok Heavy. Which new plan matches mine, and is it an upgrade or downgrade?
If you had X Premium+, choose Premium or higher to keep your benefits. For SuperGrok Heavy, the docs don't name a matching new plan.

Short answer
If you had X Premium+, the docs are clear: choose Premium or higher on The X Subscription to keep your X Premium+ benefits. For SuperGrok Heavy, the official docs don't name a matching new plan, so we can't tell you which one it maps to or whether it's an upgrade or a downgrade. Here's how to compare the plans yourself.
If you had X Premium+
The docs say: "If you have X Premium+ today, choose Premium or higher to keep your X Premium+ benefits." [1]
Premium, Super, and Ultra all include "full X Premium+ benefits." Plus gives "a checkmark, creator tools, and fewer ads on X." [1] So Plus would mean fewer X benefits than you have now.
Your X benefits only apply once you connect a personal X account. [1]
If you had SuperGrok Heavy
The docs mention SuperGrok Heavy only to say that, once you switch, "your Grok Bot usage entitlement will come from the new weekly shared pool." [2] They don't say which new plan matches Heavy.
The launch post describes Premium as "The benefits of SuperGrok, Cursor Pro, and X Premium+" [3]. It says SuperGrok, not SuperGrok Heavy, so we wouldn't read it as a Heavy mapping.
The launch post also says the switch flow "recommends the best plan based on what you have today." [3] That recommendation in your billing settings is the closest thing to an official match.
How to compare yourself
Usage multiples. The docs list included usage as Plus "Base," Premium "4x," Super "15x," and Ultra "50x" [4]. The docs don't say how much usage "Base" is, so we can't turn those multiples into a number to set against your old Heavy limits.
Features. Grok Bot is "included on Premium, Super, and Ultra. Plus does not include Grok Bot." [4] Premium and above get full X Premium+ benefits [1]. Third-party models in Cursor "aren't part of the included usage." [4]
One shared pool. "Grok and Cursor usage draw from the same included pool," [5] and it refreshes weekly [3]. If you used Heavy mostly for Grok, all of that pool can go to Grok.
You don't have to move. "Existing Cursor, SuperGrok, and X Premium plans continue unless you change or cancel them." [4]
The launch post also says "each comparable new tier delivers more usage per dollar than the plan it replaces" [3], but it doesn't say which tier counts as comparable to yours.
What users are reporting (not official)
Users posting on X say the following. These are their own reports, not something the docs confirm, and none is about SuperGrok Heavy.
One user reported switching from X Premium+ and called it "an upgrade for lower price. I did it." They didn't say which new plan they picked. (post)
One user reported that the checkout "will review your current subscriptions and recommend the one similar to your current sub to you." (post) That fits what the launch post says [3].
One user who moved from SuperGrok Plus to Ultra reported that, in the same week, their Grok Bot usage bar went from 100% to 51% and their main pool from 47% to 19%, with the same reset dates. (post)
Another user said their credits reset to 0% after switching, and a third suggested usage often resets when you change plans (post, post). So those percentages may not show how much more usage you get. The docs say that after you switch, Grok Bot usage "will come from the new weekly shared pool." [2]
We couldn't find any first-hand reports of which new plan SuperGrok Heavy users were offered or picked, so that question is still open.
