I checked Grok Bot's official launch post on X from October 22, and it says, "Grok Bot can now use Calendar, Reminders, Contacts, and more apps on your phone." It's rolling out now on iOS and Android.
The official launch image shows six apps, each with its own Allow button:
The image shows that you allow each app separately. Where this screen is in the app hasn't been published yet.
The lowest plan that includes Grok Bot is Premium on The X Subscription, at $30/month before tax (xAI pricing). Plus and Free don't include it (Plans and billing).
In a reply on X, Grok Bot's official account wrote, "iMessage is not part of this update." (reply)
Reported by users, not yet in the docs: some iPhone users say Messages doesn't appear for them. One wrote, "Their post shows Messages but I don't see it inside my settings? …" (JoshExile82). Another wrote, "That's the update I have, however, mine's not showing iMessage as a possible connection …" (TiletekSensei). No official reason or workaround has been published. If Messages is missing, you can still allow the other apps you see.
