Short answer

xAI's troubleshooting docs have a fix list for a plugin that won't install or authenticate. Most fixes come down to confirming the plugin is installed and signing in to Asana again with the right account.

Steps

Step 1: Open Connect apps from the sidebar, choose Your plugins, and confirm Asana is listed under Installed.

Step 2: Reopen Asana's detail page and choose the option to sign in to Asana.

Step 3: In your browser, sign in with the Asana account you want Grok Bot to use.

Step 4: Return to Grok Bot and retry the task.

Step 5: If you use Asana through work, check whether your admin has to set it up first.

If it still fails

If Asana access was revoked on Asana's side, remove the plugin and connect it again.

Before you contact support, the docs say to collect the exact error, your Grok Bot version and OS, and any request ID. Leave out passwords and one-time codes.
